Roelof Veld was raised in the village of Koekange, Drenthe, in The Netherlands. Roelof (in Canada known as Roloff Veld) emigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada in 1975. In 1976 he went back to The Netherlands to marry Renske Derkje van Elburg in Zwolle. They returned to live in Vancouver, B.C. There is one son from the marriage, Michael Christopher Veld. Roelof lives in the City of Port Coquitlam (Greater Vancouver), British Columbia. |
